Dear all,
This is my second day in England. Yesterday I arrived at Luton airport little after 12 pm. From there I had to catch the 737 to High Wycombe, but when I arrived at the bus stop, I saw that the first bus to my destination would be an hours wait. So I headed back to get my ticket for the bus (since you can't buy one on the bus, which I figured out when I saw people giving the drivers of the other busses a long airplane ticket).
At the airport I bought some eccles cakes at Marks and Spencers, they were very tasty as always. Back at the bus stop I expected a regular bus, but was pleasantly surprised to see a huge coach when it finally arrived. The driver took most of my ticket and dumped my suitcase in the cargo hold. I must honestly say that I have not been awake for most of the journey, as it took little over an hour to get to High Wycombe. When I woke up, we still had 15 minutes to go. Behind me an elderly lady was snoring very loudly, but she awoke suddenly when the baby behind her started screaming her lungs out. I hope I haven't been snoring like her, because that would be quite charming. #NOT!
Upon arrival I had to transfer to bus 32 to get to my new home. I was happy that it did not take long and that the weather was not as hot as today, because I would have felt like a zombie. I arrived at my new house on Butlers court around a quarter to 3. I was happy to see my friends again and their little baby has grown into a naughty little toddler.
Below a picture of the naughty little kid Abreiz!
Today I went to the HW museum, to check after the call that I had made a week ago for voluntary work. The lady at the desk was not very pleasant to me nor my friend, but she did help me. Soon it was to hot to do anything. We still went shopping in Eden shopping centre and just outside the shopping centre was Primark. Thanks to a big sale I now have 2 pairs of trousers for 7 pounds. I am still looking for a nice hat, but who knows, after 8,5 weeks I might actually come home with one plus a load of experience and clothes. Here are some pictures of my new house.
Jeeej, ik heb me aangemeld.
Loveee,
Today I went to marks and Spencers again, but I decided to hate this shop because it is too expensive and sometimes the food you buy is not even eatable.
