Today I had to travelled to Tooting, a borough in south London for an interview. I had to travel there because the nearest job centre, where interviews are taken for a NI number, was closed. I was not particularly happy going to Oxford (which the job centre offered me) for a meeting of 15 minutes and then having to travel all the way back.Though I love spending time in Oxford, I preferred something closer to London city centre. Therefore I ended up in Tooting and made it an enjoyable day out and about. Walking around the city alone is not really my piece of cake and I was lucky to catch up with Sanae on her day off from work.
I had a great time today. We walked through Leicester square, Oxford circus, Piccadilly circus and of course had to go to Regent street and Oxford street for some light shopping. We parted just outside Primark, situated only 5 minutes off of Hyde Park. I had to catch the underground and then the train back to High Wycombe and she went on with the bus to her residence. I finally arrived at my "not so new (anymore)" home around 10pm and felt beaten up. I felt so happy to be home and see little Abreiz, but it was too late and he had already gone to bed (which was only naturally at 10 pm).
Tomorrow I am going to the job centre in High Wycombe to have a look at their register, for a job close to home. If that doesn't work out, I am contacting the museum for some voluntary work, because I need a job.
Good night!
love,
Sheila
