Job hunting my way through High Wycombe

Today Noreen plucked my eyebrows with thread. It hurt like hell, but they look nice now, so that was definitely worth the pain. I went job hunting again and have so far not had any positive results. I am quite disappointed, because I called many companies and have so far filled in every application form I could find for a suitable job. I hope to be contacted soon but if not, I will call the High Wycombe museum.

The weather has been amazing and the area is very nice too. The town's centre is quite old and has lovely buildings. Going to the post office is quite a struggle though, as you have to go up the hill and back down again, but the scenery is so worth the trouble. I found 2 shopping centres and a street filled with little shops. One of the shopping centres is the well-known Eden. Well, it is well-known around here. They have got almost everything; from a library to a bowling centre and from supermarkets to restaurants. It of course did not take me long to find a Primark, MacDonalds and the always expensive Marks & Spencers, but I was surprised to find a Mi-shake there and did not know what it exactly was until I paid it a visit. The shake part almost says it all, they sell milkshakes, but they way they make it is a joy to not only look at but also to drink. I had a blueberry muffin shake the other day and was astonished to see that they blended whole blueberry muffins for my shake.  Today there was also a market and therefore it was very busy. I walked around a bit, but there was nothing that caught my eye.

I best be off to bed, as tomorrow I would like to go to the park and take some pictures. I will keep in touch and of course promise to upload some of them.
Good night!

love,
Sheila
